Love White Macaubas? 3 In-Stock Stones with the Same Soft, Linear Look
White Macaubas is having a moment. This Brazilian quartzite has a soft white background with long, linear veins of gray, sometimes with a hint of blue, that run across the slab like brushstrokes. Designers keep naming it, alongside Taj Mahal, as one of the stones to watch for 2027.
The catch is that it's in high demand, so availability and price can be tough. If you love the look, here are three stones in our SlabSmart program that capture the same feel. They're in stock at our Dallas slab yard, and you pay by the square foot.
Quick comparison
Looks like White Macaubas because… | Material | Finish | Maintenance | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Yosemite | Long, linear gray lines on bright white | Natural quartzite | Leathered | Seal about yearly |
Bianco Superiore | Soft white with drifting smoky veins | Natural quartzite | Leathered | Seal about yearly |
Macavella | Flowing, horizontal taupe-gray veining | Engineered quartz | Polished | No sealing, ever |
1. Yosemite Leathered Quartzite: the closest linear look
→ View Yosemite Leathered Quartzite

If it's White Macaubas's long, parallel veining you're after, start here. Yosemite is a bright white quartzite crossed by crisp, pencil-thin charcoal lines that run in long strokes across the slab. It's a little more graphic than Macaubas, with the same clean, architectural feel.

Yosemite as a full-height backsplash and island.
Why choose it: it's a true quartzite, just like White Macaubas, so it's very hard, heat resistant and great for busy kitchens. The leathered finish hides fingerprints and gives it a soft, touchable texture.
2. Bianco Superiore Leathered Quartzite: the softest match
→ View Bianco Superiore Leathered Quartzite

Bianco Superiore has a soft white to pale gray background with delicate, smoky veins that drift across the slab. It's calmer and more marble-like than Yosemite, and the closest match to the gentler White Macaubas slabs.
Why choose it: it's natural quartzite, so it's far more resistant to scratches, heat and etching than marble. It looks stunning on a waterfall island, where the veining continues down the side.
3. Macavella Quartz: the Macaubas look with zero upkeep

Macavella is an engineered quartz designed with that White Macaubas look in mind: long, flowing veins of warm gray and taupe that sweep across a soft white background in gentle waves.

Why choose it: quartz is non-porous, so there's no sealing and no staining, and the pattern is consistent from slab to slab. That makes seams and big islands easier to plan. If you have kids, pets or a lot of red wine, this is the one.
